Job Description
Our client is currently looking to recruit an Administration Officer to be part of the Operations team. The selected person will need to assist in the overall planning and coordination of all human resources and materials related to production processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and manage personnel rosters for production lines, ensuring effective communication with employees and utilizing systems like Indigo for scheduling, attendance tracking, and leave management.
- Provide handover instructions to the Process Leader, help in updating production plans, and generate relevant reports for production planning activities.
- Support the management in creating production schedules, coordinating with plant maintenance, and collecting maintenance-related data.
- Utilize company software (ERP, EIT) to initiate and complete production jobs on the line and, when necessary, the other lines.
- Collect daily data on key performance indicators for the production, including preform wastages, raw material variances, Changeovers time, CIP times, and line efficiency. Consolidate this information monthly and report any notable trends to the direct superior.
- Assist process managers in organizing data and documentation, such as record sheets.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENT
- An A level or Diploma standard of education in a related field, coupled with a minimum of three years of experience in the technical environment.
- The ability to communicate effectively in both Maltese and English.
- Good coordination and organisation skills whilst also being able to negotiate.
- The ability to be part of a team formulating relevant policies/ procedures.
- The ability to work in a team and also independently.
