The Role
A Maintenance Technician with a License A in Gozo is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.
Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of electrical systems.
- Assisting operators with the setup of production machinery and troubleshooting issues to maximize efficiency.
- Working with other technicians to diagnose and resolve technical problems, ensuring seamless operations.
Qualifications/Requirement
- Possession of a valid License A, authorizing work on single-phase electrical installations.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, particularly in electrical maintenance, is often preferred.
- An active driver’s license may be required for roles that involve travel between sites.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to electrical maintenance and repairs.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
