The Role
A Sprayer applies paints, coatings, or finishes to surfaces such as walls, machinery, furniture, or vehicles using spray equipment. The role ensures smooth, high-quality application and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for spraying by cleaning, sanding, or masking areas.
- Mix paints, coatings, or finishes to achieve desired colors and consistency.
- Operate spray equipment to apply coatings evenly and efficiently.
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality and make necessary touch-ups.
- Maintain and clean spray equipment regularly.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent over-spraying, spills, and exposure to hazardous materials.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using spray guns and related tools.
- Knowledge of paint types, finishes, and surface preparation techniques.
- Attention to detail for achieving smooth, even application.
- Ability to work in various environments, including outdoors or industrial settings.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, or lift for extended periods.
- Experience in spraying is preferred; training may be provided for entry-level candidates.
