Our client is searching for Junior Accountant.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support month-end processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheets and bank accounts, resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate records.
- Generate and review detailed monthly payroll reports, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Prepare statutory returns, including VAT submissions.
- Assist the CFO in budgeting, year-end preparations, forecasts, cash flow analysis, and participate actively in weekly and monthly department meetings.
- Compile comprehensive audit files to facilitate a smooth and efficient audit process.
- Foster open communication within the finance department, promptly addressing issues and keeping the CFO informed of key updates.
- Maintain financial integrity by implementing, reviewing, and upholding robust financial controls, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications/Requirement
- Degree in Business Management with a focus on Accounting or currently pursuing an ACCA qualification.
- Proficient in computer skills and familiar with accounting management software; experience with hotel PMS systems such as The New Hotel, Micros POS, and Shireburn SFM is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of local financial, taxation, and employment legislation.
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional demeanor that aligns with company values.
- Fluent in English.
