The Role
Our client is looking for an HR Training and Development Officer to identify the training and development needs for company and create effective training programs that will stimulate learning, fast-track our employees’ professional development, and improve their productivity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct annual assessments to determine training and development needs.
- Develop comprehensive training and development programs and objectives.
- Manage and oversee departmental budget for training and development.
- Create and curate effective training materials using diverse media formats.
- Provide training and coaching to managers, supervisors, and other staff involved in employee development.
- Plan, organize, and facilitate employee development and training events, including ordering necessary supplies.
- Reevaluate and update training and development needs annually.
- Continuously develop and implement objectives for training and development programs.
- Monitor and control spending against the departmental budget.
- Design and produce training materials utilizing various media.
- Coach and train leadership and staff in employee development initiatives.
- Coordinate and execute logistics for training events and secure necessary supplies.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years’ experience in designing and implementing employee development programs.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Proficient in evaluating and researching training options and alternatives.
- Expertise in designing and implementing effective training and development programs.
