Position Summary
Our client is seeking to recruit the post of Shop Assistant who has prior experience working in a bottle shop or possesses a basic understanding of wines and spirits.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting wines and spirits.
- Provide detailed information about our products.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop.
- Manage inventory and restock shelves as needed.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in shop events such as wine tastings, providing excellent customer service.
Experience and Knowledge:
- Has prior experience working in a bottle shop or possesses a basic understanding of wines and spirits.
- Experience in the bar or catering sector is also considered suitable.
- Demonstrates a keen interest in learning more about wines and spirits.
- Enjoys selling and engaging with customers to enhance their shopping experience.
