Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Cost Estimator to prepare accurate project cost estimates, develop competitive bids, and collaborate with project managers for budget efficiency. This role involves client engagement, vendor relations, and maintaining compliance with Maltese regulations while managing multiple estimates and documentation.
Some Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, covering labor, materials, and equipment while adhering to Maltese regulations.
- Develop detailed bids by analyzing project requirements, including potential risks, to ensure competitive and precise pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers on budget creation, aiming for cost efficiency without sacrificing quality.
- Engage with clients, project managers, and suppliers to gather data, ensure estimates meet project demands, and adjust for any scope changes.
- Maintain strong vendor relations, update cost databases, and comply with local building codes and safety standards.
- Track multiple project estimates simultaneously, ensuring timely submissions and accurate documentation for audits and future reference.
Qualifications/Requirement
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, with expertise in Maltese regulations and electrical systems.
- Skilled in budgeting, cost analysis, and project planning with attention to detail.
- Proficient in estimation software and Excel, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.
