Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, continence care, and mobility support
Provide close supervision to ensure safety and help prevent wandering or falls
Support safe transfers and mobility where required
Provide medication prompts in accordance with the established care plan
Prepare nutritious meals and monitor food and fluid intake to support hydration and overall health
Offer companionship and emotional reassurance to help reduce anxiety and agitation
Maintain consistent daily routines to promote orientation, comfort, and stability
Support cognitive function through simple activities, conversation, and engagement
Observe, document, and promptly report any changes in behaviour, cognition, or health status
Assist with light household duties directly related to the client’s wellbeing (e.g., laundry, tidying personal areas, meal preparation)
Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding the client’s condition and care needs
Uphold dignity, confidentiality, safeguarding principles, and professional standards at all times
