Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Trade Leader to join our client team in the workshop section. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading, planning, and organizing resources to ensure the completion of technical tasks to the highest standards. You will manage a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring that all jobs are executed efficiently, safely, and in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, allocate, and organize resources to meet agreed project deadlines.
- Delegate tasks effectively to the technical team, ensuring all trades are covered.
- Oversee the execution of jobs, ensuring quality standards are met in line with provided policies and plans.
- Offer advice and input to superiors on the development of policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
- Provide regular reports to management on the performance and progress of your area of responsibility.
- Collaborate with third-party contractors on engineering projects, ensuring smooth integration with company-wide initiatives.
- Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with all safety regulations within the workshop environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Advanced Technician Diploma (ATD) / Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent MQF Level 5 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Possession of a Wireman’s Licence A & B.
- Strong leadership skills with prior experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
