The Role
Our client is looking for a Steel Fabricator to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Tooling preparation;
- Tack welding for fitting;
- Assist Welder in a process;
- Grinding and welding preparation according to weld procedure;
- Read Blueprints, section and plan drawings, and weld symbols;
- Must be able to read and derive measurements, dimensions, and quantity of material needed to fabricate a structure;
- Fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel products such as beams;
- Use industry tools and equipment;
Qualifications/Requirement
- Proven working experience as a steel fitter
- Knowledge of local standards and requirements
- Integrity and good interpersonal skills
- Experience in tools and equipment
- Working knowledge of English Language
