The Role
We are seeking experienced Construction Shutterers. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in formwork and shuttering, demonstrating precision and a strong work ethic in all aspects of their role.Responsibilities
- Assemble and set up formwork for concrete pours in various construction projects, ensuring structural stability and accuracy.
- Install shutters for walls, columns, slabs, and other structural elements according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Assist in the pouring and finishing of concrete to achieve the desired surface quality and structural integrity.
- Inspect formwork and shuttering to ensure they meet project specifications and safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain and care for all tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Work closely with other team members, including carpenters, laborers, and site supervisors, to ensure project milestones are met on time.
Qualifications/Requirement
- Proven experience as a Construction Shutterer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and safety guidelines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using construction tools and equipment related to formwork and shuttering.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Relevant certifications or training in construction safety and formwork (preferred).
