The Role
Energetic and dynamic individual required to fill a top management position for some of the leading Restaurants on the Island. Heading a team of young individuals, the candidate should have excellent customer skills, great attention to detail and a good drive to handle the pressure. Will be responsible for providing direction and oversight of all culinary operations in the restaurant’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and overall customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation
- Deliver superior guest services
- Ensuring guest satisfaction
- Work closely with head chef on planning and updation menus
- Plan and develop the overall restaurant marketing strategy
- Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Manage and lead staff
- Assist in hiring new employees
- Training and evaluate staff performance
- Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory
- Manage restaurant supplies
- Control costs and minimize waste
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions
- Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales
Qualifications/Requirement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of HACCP
- Excellent managerial & training skills
- Ability to motivate & train a team of co-workers
- A flair for managing a busy operation & Team
- Committed to guest/client satisfaction
- Able to maximize profits and sales
- Catering & Hospitality vocational degree/certification a plus
