The Role
Refrigeration Technician on industrial kitchen refrigeration equipment used in restaurants hotels and has to diagnose faults and repair them mainly on-site.
A successful candidate need to have experience in similar position.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and repairing refrigeration devices, systems and equipment used in commercial environments.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults.
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Work with daily schedule of clients provided.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers’ requirements.
- Assisting with customers’ queries.
- Chosen candidate will also be in charge of the van and the parts handed to him.
Qualifications/Requirements

- 1- 2 years experience as an Refrigeration technician.
- Trade school Diploma or a suitable equivalent.
- Fluent in English language communication and good writing skills
- Valid drivers licence
- Should have experience in maintaining the commercial refrigeration systems
- Must have excellent troubleshooting skills and possess the ability to analyse problems rationally and provide solutions.
