Job Description
One of the leading Italian cuisine restaurants in Malta is seeking to employ a Pizza Chef (Pizzaiolo). The selected candidates will work on preparation of pizza dough, sauces and toppings.
Some Responsibilities:
- Ensures cooking stations are sanitized and prepped with necessary tools
- Preparing pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings, such as tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and meats.
- Monitoring the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times.
- Preparing high-quality pizzas according to company recipes& checks quality of pizzas before they’re served to guests
- Orders supplies, maintains inventory, creates budgets to ensure profitable food cost
- Makes sure the kitchen is clean and sanitized
Qualifications/Requirement
- Culinary school diploma and HACCP
- Experience as Pizza Chef (Pizzaiolo or Pizzar)
- Proactivity, reliability and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills in English language.
- Good multi-tasking skills.
- Good time management
- Preference will be given to the candidates already in Malta
