Our client is looking for Operation manager.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of front- and back-of-house operations to achieve customer satisfaction and quality service while meeting and exceeding financial goals following a detailed forecast for planning and managing all good and Beverage orders, staff and finance. The goal is to maximise sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
Some of responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day and Food and Beverage Operations with budgeted guidelines and to the highest standard
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Identify customers’ needs and responds proactively to all their concerns
- Lead the F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
- Establish targets, KPIs, schedules, policies and procedures
- Provide two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis on motivation and teamwork
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Report to the management regarding sales results and productivity.
- Develop a business plan, financial budget and operational plans
- Create and execute career development plans for managers, supervisors and high performing employees within his remit
- Drive service quality and customer satisfaction
- Manage compliance with food and beverage and hygiene policies and procedures
- Oversee and manage the outlets’ profit and loss by reaching monthly budgeted targets
Qualifications/Requirement
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Guest-oriented and service-minded
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Must be a mature, pleasant, courteous, cooperative and enthusiastic team player who displays good human relations skills
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a managerial role within a multi-outlet, high volume operation
- Proven track record of leading a large 50+ team Working knowledge of various computer software programs ( MS Office, Restaurant Management Software, POS)
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Must be in Malta now
- Culinary school diploma or degree in food service management or related field
- Must be flexible in working hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Ability to work under pressure and meet financial targets
- Up to date with food and beverage trends and best practises
