The Role
Our client is looking for a Payroll Officer to join our HR department and administer our employee compensation. Payroll Officer responsibilities include calculating employees’ compensation, updating our internal payroll databases and ensuring timely payments.
Responsibilities
- Check spreadsheets of hours worked reporting to the financial department
- Prepare the monthly payroll and explain payroll questions to employees.
- A positive attitude and a logical mind are key.
- Learn and develop your career through in-company training and grow. Complete training will be given to the candidate.
- Integrity and confidentiality.
- Work as a team, especially during payroll closing.
- The successful candidate will work directly with the HR Systems Manager.
Requirements
- Previous work experience and knowledge of payroll.
- Ideally have experience using payroll software – we use Indigo and SAP Success Factors
- Microsoft Excel, good writing and communication in English and Maltese.
