The Role
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and efficient management of staff. This role requires leadership in a fast-paced environment, coordination with other departments, and a focus on team development and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all housekeeping activities to ensure properties meet the highest cleanliness standards.
- Ensure smooth and efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead and manage a diverse housekeeping team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Identify and implement development plans for team members to promote growth.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Guest Services, Reservations, and F&B to meet guest needs.
- Ensure seamless operation between housekeeping and other departments.
- Distribute and delegate tasks effectively to maximize productivity and guest satisfaction.
- Minimize costs while maintaining high service standards.
- Direct efforts in recruiting, training, and evaluating housekeeping staff.
- Coordinate administrative duties with supervisory staff.
- Prepare and manage the department’s budget, ensuring effective cost control.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels and related expenses.
- Handle a high volume of tasks and guest requests, resolving issues promptly.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and best practices are rigorously enforced.
Qualifications/Requirement
- 3-5 years of related experience in a high-volume hospitality setting.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Windows, Office, and property management systems.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
