The Role
Are you an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences? Our client is seeking a motivated and dedicated Assistant Hotel Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant Hotel Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Hotel Manager in the day-to-day operations and contribute to the overall success of our property.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and established procedures.
- Delegate responsibilities to Heads of Departments (HODs) and monitor their performance to maintain operational excellence.
- Monitor and manage guest feedback on platforms such as TripAdvisor and OTA sites, striving to maintain a minimum rating of 9.0.
- Establish targets, KPIs, schedules, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Foster a two-way communication environment, promoting teamwork and motivation among staff.
- Uphold health and safety regulations to provide a secure environment for guests and employees.
- Provide regular reports on sales results, productivity, and operational updates to the management team.
- Lead operations meetings and daily briefings with HODs in the absence of the Hotel Manager.
- Ensure strict adherence to hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Cultivate owner loyalty through effective communication, expectation management, and achieving solid business results.
- Support the Hotel Manager in key property matters, including ongoing projects, customer service, and refurbishment initiatives.
- Develop managers, supervisors, and high-potential employees through comprehensive development plans.
- Drive service quality and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications/Requirement
- Proven experience in food and beverage management within high-volume and multi-outlet establishments.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- A mature, courteous, and cooperative team player with exceptional human relations skills.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Proficiency in various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS systems).
- Skilled in problem identification and efficient resolution.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of hospitality trends and best practices.
- Capability to manage personnel and achieve financial targets.
- Guest-oriented and committed to delivering exceptional service.
